Dance Groups

We have many dance groups at Umina Beach Public School that run as extra-curricular activities. Students who are interested rehearse during lunchtimes at school. Our dance groups are very successful and have been selected to perform in events such as: Central Coast Dance Festival, Central Coast School's Showcase, Starstruck and State Dance Festival. We also perform our dance routines in local community events, Eisteddfods, school fetes, fundraisers and special school assemblies. 

Our dance groups are run by members of our teaching staff who volunteer their time to choreograph the routines, organise costumes, plan excursions and rehearse at school. Each year, we typically have a Stage 1, Stage 2 and a Stage 3 dance groups. If your child is interested in participating in one of our dance groups please speak to your child's teacher and they will put you in touch with the teacher involved.
